I spent over 90 minutes troubleshooting a machine, only to discover it had not been properly wiped. It still contained data and active agents from our previous MSP. This oversight is unacceptable. It has caused significant delays, wasted valuable time.
The timing of this issue is particularly concerning—the user received the PC on their first day, and the impression of IT support is already negative. First impressions matter, and this situation has created unnecessary disruption during an already sensitive onboarding period.
Additionally, the device still has multiple incorrect or missing components:
Several unauthorized applications and agents are still running (e.g., Empist agents remain active).
Essential tools, such as the DIT agent, are not installed.
